Princess Nourah University Invites International Students with New Educational Initiatives

by Belinda Breeze

Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University has opened applications for two educational programs, Arabic Language Courses for General Purposes and Welcome to Saudi Arabia, through the Study in Saudi Arabia platform.

For the academic year 2024, these programs are intended for international students from all over the world.

They are a part of the university’s efforts to support international students, improve academic and cultural exchange, and improve students’ academic experiences by helping them develop their professional and personal skills.

The Arabic Language Courses for General Purposes program, offered by the Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Arabic Speakers, focuses on teaching communicative skills in Arabic, including reading, listening, speaking, and writing. Students are introduced to Saudi customs and traditions through the English Language Institute’s Welcome to Saudi Arabia program. These include social etiquette, acceptable greetings, and Saudi dress.

Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University’s initiatives help it to achieve its strategic goals for 2025 by providing cutting-edge academic programs that lead in knowledge and community impact, anticipate the future, strengthen the university’s international presence, and foster communication between local and global communities.

Applications for the Arabic Language Courses for General Purposes program are open until 11 April 2024 and for the Welcome to Saudi Arabia program from 1-15 June 2024.
