Saudi Arabia has opened school performance data to parents for the first time, marking a major shift towards transparency and accountability in education. Through the newly launched Mustaqbalhum app, more than two million parents across the Kingdom can now monitor the performance of over 22,000 schools.

Empowering Families
Led by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, the initiative provides parents with access to detailed insights, including student results from national standardised assessments such as Nafis and performance in university entrance examinations.
Over 2 million parents now connected
The goal is to enable families to make informed decisions about their children’s education while reinforcing trust between schools and parents. An ETEC spokesperson explained,
“Parents are no longer passive observers. With this tool, they become active participants in shaping their children’s educational journey.”
Data at Scale
The scale of the rollout is unprecedented. Since its launch, the system has collected more than 1.7 billion data points, covering over 10 million students, teachers and parents nationwide.

Nearly 1.5 million students have participated in evaluations, while close to 24,000 schools have completed self-assessments, achieving full national participation. This comprehensive coverage ensures that the data reflects the diversity of the Saudi education system, from major cities to rural communities.

Designed as a user-friendly digital platform, the Mustaqbalhum app allows parents to engage with school performance data in real time. Through the app, families can:
