Misk Schools has celebrated the graduation of more than 200 students in Riyadh, highlighting the growing role of technology-focused learning in Saudi education.
The Misk Schools graduates completed more than 180 software projects and earned over 700 professional certificates. The qualifications came through training partnerships with major technology organisations, including Meta, Unity, IBM and CompTIA.
The graduation ceremony also recognised students with more than 15 medals for excellence. The event brought together education and technology leaders, including senior representatives from the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and Tuwaiq Academy.
Misk Schools Students Gain Practical Technology Skills
The graduates completed their programmes through the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center, known as Atheer.
Atheer operates through a collaboration between Misk Schools, SDAIA and Tuwaiq Academy. The centre was established to give students practical experience in emerging digital fields.
Its programmes cover areas such as artificial intelligence, programming, cybersecurity, robotics and drones. Students can also work towards professional certifications and take part in competitions and other technology-focused opportunities.
For students, this approach provides learning opportunities that extend beyond traditional classroom study. They can apply their knowledge through projects while developing skills linked to future technology careers.
More Than 180 Software Projects Completed
Project-based learning formed a key part of the students’ experience.
The graduating students completed more than 180 software projects during their studies. They also gained more than 700 professional certificates through programmes developed with international technology organisations.
In addition, students completed around 300 hours of training through Tuwaiq Academy, according to the academy’s CEO Abdulaziz Al-Hammadi.
This combination of projects, training and professional qualifications gives students opportunities to demonstrate practical skills. It can also help them build stronger portfolios for future study and employment.
