Education and Training Evaluation Commission has launched the national digital initiative “Windows of the Education and Training Status Room” on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in the presence of Dr Saad bin Awwadh Al Harbi, Vice Minister of Education for General Education, and Dr Waleed bin Mohammed Al Saleh, President of the Commission, alongside ministry officials and education leaders.
Enhancing Data Driven Decision Making
The initiative represents an advanced stage in the development of the Education and Training Status Room, first introduced in early 2025. Each education department is now provided with its own dedicated interface, enabling direct access to performance data and analytical tools.
This approach allows departments to identify gaps more effectively and develop targeted improvement plans based on accurate and comprehensive data.
The Vice Minister of Education for General Education emphasised the importance of relying on precise data and detailed evaluations to guide decision making. He also highlighted the role of national assessments and encouraged education leaders to adopt practical strategies to improve outcomes.
Supporting National Education Goals
The Commission’s President reaffirmed its commitment to delivering rigorous national evaluation programmes in collaboration with the Ministry of Education Saudi Arabia. These programmes use advanced measurement tools to generate actionable insights, improve quality and support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

He added that sharing detailed reports with stakeholders remains a priority, helping to enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement across the education sector.
Integrated Platform for Performance Analysis
The new windows standardise how educational performance is analysed and interpreted. They address challenges related to fragmented data by offering unified, reliable insights for stakeholders.
The platform supports closer integration between the Ministry of Education and the Commission, enabling proactive planning, improved spending efficiency and stronger alignment with national education policies.
It also contributes to developing a more competitive and well prepared workforce by strengthening the overall education ecosystem.

Advanced Digital Infrastructure
The windows feature comprehensive data displays with continuous automatic updates, allowing users to track trends and generate detailed reports at multiple levels. This enables education departments to identify strengths and areas for improvement with greater precision.
The Education and Training Status Room is built on a vast database that includes more than 23 billion data points, over 300 interactive dashboards, more than 3,000 analytical elements and over 3.5 billion numerical values.
This advanced digital environment serves as a national decision making tool, integrating assessment, measurement and accreditation data with inputs from various stakeholders, while providing dedicated access for each education department to maximise the use of data.
