King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has launched the “Ahlan Wa Sahlan” digital learning platform, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The initiative aims to teach Arabic to both native and non native speakers through a flexible and interactive learning experience, combining accredited academic content with modern technology to support learners at different levels.
Advancing Digital Arabic Education
Abdullah Al Washmi, secretary general of the academy, said the platform represents a significant step forward in the digital development of Arabic language education. It aligns with the academy’s mission to strengthen the presence of Arabic in modern learning environments.
He added that the initiative is part of a broader set of projects supported by Minister of Culture Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, reflecting leadership commitment to promoting Arabic globally through reliable digital tools.
Flexible Learning Across Multiple Levels
The platform offers integrated language programmes across five levels, from beginner to advanced, catering to a wide range of learners. It also includes specialised courses designed for professional fields such as administration, healthcare and sports.
Learners can benefit from flexible self learning options, supported by standardised assessment tools and comprehensive testing systems to track progress and achievement.
Interactive Features and Institutional Support
“Ahlan Wa Sahlan” features an interactive design with customised content tailored to different learner groups. The platform includes a multilingual interface supporting five languages, along with continuous technical support.
Educational institutions are also provided with advanced tools to manage content, organise learners and monitor performance through detailed analytical reports.
Supporting Global Arabic Learning Goals
The launch forms part of the academy’s wider strategy to expand Arabic language education globally through innovative digital solutions. It aims to enhance learning efficiency and strengthen Arabic’s role in education, culture and digital communication.
The initiative also aligns with the goals of the Human Capability Development Program, which focuses on building a modern digital education ecosystem that combines academic quality with technological innovation.
