The second One World International School in Riyadh is now open for the 2026 to 27 academic year, bringing Singapore’s proven approach to American curriculum education to the Al Jazeera District.

A Growing Commitment to Education in Riyadh

When Global Schools Group opened its first One World International School in Riyadh in 2022, it marked a clear commitment to delivering high quality international education in the Kingdom. Four years on, that vision continues with the launch of OWIS Al Jazeera, the second One World campus in the capital. The new school is situated in the Al Jazeera District under the patronage of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City.

A Curriculum Designed for Future Ready Learners

At the heart of OWIS Al Jazeera is the American Common Core Standards, strengthened by the inquiry led Next Generation Science Standards. This combination supports the development of critical thinking, confident communication, and independent learning from an early age.

For the 2026 to 27 academic year, the school will welcome students from KG 1 through to Grade 5. The academic programme is complemented by Arabic language instruction at every level, along with World Languages, STEAM, Arts, Music, and Physical, Social, and Personal Education. This ensures that each child develops holistically across academic, creative, and personal dimensions.

A Culture Rooted in Values

What distinguishes OWIS Al Jazeera is its strong emphasis on culture and values. Kindness, compassion, and respect for Saudi traditions are central to the school’s ethos and are integrated into everyday learning.

“Our mission at OWIS is to empower students to become compassionate, confident global citizens through a values-driven and inquiry-based approach to education.”

Amol Vaidya, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, GSG MENA

Part of a Global Learning Community

OWIS Al Jazeera is part of the Global Schools Group network, which includes 64 international campuses across 11 countries. With more than 45,000 students representing 70 nationalities, the network offers students opportunities to engage in exchange programmes, international events, and collaborative projects that extend learning beyond the classroom.
