The first Saudi woman to hold the position of Jeddah Education Director, Manal Al Lahibi took an inspection tour of numerous schools on the first day of the new academic year. A video clip of her among students and teachers at Shaddad bin Aws Primary School has gone viral on social media, with Al Lahibi seen immersing herself in the activities of the new school year.

She conscientiously scrutinised the exercises that the students participated in. Furthermore, she talked to the school’s educators, giving an important message that emphasised the importance of their role: “Students learn from you seriousness, discipline, and organisation. It’s crucial to instil in them values, morals, and tolerance.”
